About the course
Set on a peninsula between the River Boyne and the Irish Sea, County Louth — universally known as Baltray — is one of Ireland's most beloved links courses. Redesigned by Tom Simpson in 1938, the course is a masterclass in natural links architecture: tumbling fairways, deep pot bunkers, and greens that reward imagination over brute force. It has hosted the East of Ireland Championship for over a century and remains one of the most authentic links experiences on the island.
