About the course
Lahinch is one of the great links courses of the world — a course with a history as rich as any in golf. Old Tom Morris laid out the original holes in 1892. Alister MacKenzie redesigned it in 1927, creating the famous Dell and Klondyke holes that remain today. Martin Hawtree's 2003 redesign modernised the layout while preserving its essential character. The result is a course that is simultaneously historic and contemporary — a links that has hosted the Irish Open and the South of Ireland Championship for over a century.
