About the course
Portsalon Golf Club on the shores of Lough Swilly is one of Ireland's oldest and most beautiful links courses. Founded in 1891, it was largely forgotten for much of the 20th century before a major redesign by Pat Ruddy in 2000 brought it back to prominence. The course now ranks among the finest in Donegal — a rolling, natural links with views of Lough Swilly and the Fanad Peninsula that are simply breathtaking.
