THE LINKS OF LAHINCH

Lahinch Golf Club

The St Andrews of Ireland

Lahinch has been called the St Andrews of Ireland — and not without reason. The Old Course has been welcoming golfers since 1892, and the town has grown up around the game in a way that few places in the world can match.

The famous Dell hole — a blind par three where a white stone marks the line — has been dividing opinion since the course was laid out. Lahinch will host the Walker Cup in September 2026, confirming its place among the elite links courses of the world.

"Lahinch is the most natural golf course I have ever seen."
Old Tom Morris
