About the course
Royal Portrush is the only golf club outside Great Britain to have hosted The Open Championship, doing so in 1951 and again in 2019 — when Shane Lowry's victory brought the island of Ireland to a standstill. The Dunluce Links, designed by H.C. Colt in 1929, is a masterpiece of strategic design: wide fairways that narrow under pressure, greens that reward precision, and the White Rocks cliffs providing a backdrop of savage beauty. The Valley Links offers a gentler but equally enjoyable companion course.
